Thank you to all those who took part in our Tacpac training in New Zealand

This week Hilary travelled to New Zealand to give two days of Tacpac training at BLENNZ Homai school in Auckland. She gave the Tacpac Essentials training on the 12th March and the Advanced training on the 13th March. It was a wonderful two days. We would like to thank all those who took part in the Tacpac training and hope that you enjoy all of your Tacpac sessions to come.

Denise

Denise is an itinerant teacher who works with low vision, blind and complex needs students. She said that doing the Tacpac training has increased her awareness of how important the beat of the music is. “One of the things I love about Tacpac is that if you’re not musical, you can feel confident in being part of Tacpac and actually being the leader.”

Yin Yin

Yin Yin is a teacher for blind and low-vision children between the ages of 0 – 6 years at BLENNZ Homai. She has been using Tacpac for two years. After attending both training days she said, “I’ve learnt a lot in these workshops. The hands on experiences are really useful. I’ll be able to transfer it to the children I work with.”
