TACPAC Set 3 Resources
Welcome to Set 3 resources for TACPAC.
If this is the third pack you are using, you might have been using TACPAC this past year. You will have been exploring the various sensory ways of combining music and touch in equal measure, to provide a high quality experience of sensory communication for your receiver.
By now you will be relaxed and competent at reading non verbal signs, understanding what your receiving partner likes and wants, and you will be totally familiar with the music.
Patterning:
– keep a consistent body patterning. If you start in one place, and progress to another with the object, stick to the same patterning.
– Keep to the basic beat. Do not be tempted to stray. Your receiver will be relying on you to be a trustworthy communication partner, who is with them all the time. By set 3, if your receiver is able to use an object independently, she might be able to copy the beat either on herself, or you.
– Where possible, keep sessions at the same time and in the same place. Anticipation become important when we want to gain control over a situation.
Good luck! Hilary Wainer TACPAC founder
