TACPAC Set 4 Resources

Welcome to Set 4 resources for TACPAC.

This set has 2 activities which are split – no 1, 2 types of balls and no 3, two types of temperature. It will be important for you to fully understand the contrasting music to consciously feel how to give the contrast to your receiver. The balls are to be used with deep pressure, and the painting and blowing, with light pressure. The music is constructed to reflect to opposite tactile feelings. Be sure to portray that in your touch. Practise this before you begin your sessions on your receiver.

In every activity we have stressed the importance of sticking to the basic beat. Here, in no 5, bubbles, there is a variation – we can’t control bubbles! So – relax and enjoy the effect of the bubbles on your receiver. The music is pure fun. There IS a basic beat, but for this one, you’re let off sticking to it, as the bubbles flow past, and the receivers track their paths into thin air.

  • One small, textured ball and one larger smooth ball
  • One hair brush

  • A bowl of warm water and a paint brush and small towel

  • A loofah
  • Bubbles!
  • A blanket for relaxation
