Also known as Handipac, this is a good continuation from set 5, and is often used as a stand alone set.
Set 6- Handypac
This is a good continuation from set 5, and is often used as a stand alone set. There are no objects in this set, just your hands. This set is good if you think you need instance access to a Tacpac session, without it being timetabled or without needing setup time. This set is often but not exclusively used for those flash times of heightened tension or anxiety. It is an easy set to use as there is no preparation time apart from streaming the music.
This set is divided into 6 activities ranging from using a tapping touch to using fingertips for pointed work. This set ends with the special relaxation time. There are three deep pressure activities in this set, with relaxation being an optional extra if so desired.
This set contains
· 6 videos taking you through each activity
· streamed music that has been specifically composed for each activity
· TACPAC Activity Sheet
· Record Keeping Guide and Template.
We recommend you stay with Set 6 for 4 – 5 months. By this time you could be observing better sensory communications from your receiver, and you will be better at delivering a sensory communication resource. If this is the sixth set you are using with your receiver, you might take a shorter time if your receiver has more sensory vocabulary to use with you. If this is being used as a stand alone set before embarking on others, use your Record Sheets to guide your observations about your own and your receiver’s communications.
