Become a TACPAC Advanced Practitioner and let your staff and community refer to you as the “TACPAC Go To Lead!’

You’ve told us how much you have enjoyed the Essentials training. Now we have the Advanced Training to follow up.

We have 2 new exciting modules in this training:

The TACPAC Assessment

This will help you keep detailed records on your pupils, marking their development, and helping your planning. All this will be available on your computer and as an app, so that record keeping becomes easy and accessible.

Video Sharing

We have the chance to see each other’s videos of TACPAC at work. This great training opportunity to share our work, when we often do sessions in isolation, is not to be missed. Benefit from the creative ideas and discussions from everyone on the training, making you the Advanced Practitioner your staff and community can refer to as the “TACPAC Go To Professional”

Develop your understanding of your own sensory responses
Deepen your understanding of attachment
Discover the exciting new TACPAC Assessment Tracker which will become indispensable in helping you to record progress and plan your sessions
Increase your powers of observation to enable more effective communication.
Understand the components of music at a deeper level, enabling you to guide your touch more intuitively.
Consider the development of the brain and the role of sensory experience.
Become familiar with the use of more TACPAC objects, building on the work you did on the Essentials training
Discuss your own responses to music, and observations we’ll make from video material you provide

The 5 hour course costs £185 per person.

A typical course lasts 5 hours with a break in the middle.

It was really informative. I would encourage parents and other professional to go through Tac Pac training. Found it really innovative. The activities were brilliant for being able to practise the movements to the music in a supportive environment. There was no part of the course that I didn’t enjoy and from which I didn’t learn. Although I have used TACPAC before, I hadn’t considered the importance of unknown music without any connotations attached to it for the receiver. This now makes perfect sense and was a revelation!

I messaged my manager during the break to tell her how amazing the training course is; I didn’t expect it to go into as much detail as it did. I liked how the course went into detail about the function of the Limbic System in relation to behaviour and response. I now want to do more research into the physiological aspects of behaviour in Autism to work on positive behaviour support within our homes
