Case Study: ‘Building Bridges’ with Tacpac Two

Ryelands Primary School (aged 4-11) serves an urban population with significant disadvantage. The proportion of pupils eligible for school meals is very high, as is the proportion of children with learning difficulties and / or disabilities, including complex needs. Six Yr 6 mainstream children (11 year olds) were chosen for the Building Bridges project, most of whom had low self esteem, and some with behaviour problems.
